Safe Packaging of Fishing Rods & Reels
When packaging fishing reels and rods please use sufficient protection to prevent items from being damaged or moving in transit. We recommend packing rods and reels in bubble wrap and/or foam packaging and a strong solid cardboard box or cylinder that is taped and clearly marked.
When packaging your item, we recommended that you use extreme care as any damage incurred to your item during delivery is at your own risk. As an additional form of security, we also highly recommend taking photos of your item prior to packaging clearly indicating the quality of the item and any existing damage.
Fishing rods can be easily broken during transit if not prepared correctly. Please always disassemble rods if more than 1 piece and cover all rod guides and rod tips with cardboard or tubing. Place fishing rods inside a PVC tube or sturdy cylinder packaging.
Shipping & Delivery throughout Australia
We service and repair rods and reels from anywhere within Australia and welcome multiple or bulk servicing orders. So if you have a few reels sitting in the shed or a couple of mates that need their fishing gear fixed, why not split the postage and save on your delivery costs.
Delivery costs are the responsibility of the sender. We highly recommend considering insurance and item tracking to avoid lost items or complications such as damage or misplacement (especially for more expensive items). Return shipping costs will be included in your invoice of the servicing or repair charges of your fishing gear.
Turnaround times on rod and reel repairs depends on the level of servicing required and the availability of parts. Please discuss with us prior if you have an urgent request and the suitability of timeframes. A variety of express delivery options are available upon request.
Our Returns policy
Daz’s Rodz N Reelz can assist you with replacement parts and repairs on all types of fishing gear. Our Returns policy is voided if a returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, modified, tampered, abused, or physically damaged.
Please contact us for further information if you have a query about a repair or replaced part from us. Please attach a copy of the original invoice or provide the original invoice number and manufacturer details.
Daz’s Rodz N Reelz is not responsible for any parcel missing or damaged in transit. If you have a concern or issue with an item that has been repaired or serviced by us please contact us immediately to notify us of the issue.
All repairs and parts replaced by us have a 30 day return policy from the date of invoice settlement. A return is only deemed acceptable once agreed that parts installed by us are at fault. We are not responsible for damage to new parts or repairs by you or through misuse of an item. Returns are at the sole discretion of Daz’s Rodz and Reelz upon investigation and inspection of the item. Please contact us for further details or assistance.
